The fourth edition of the International Yoga Day will be held at the Forest Research Institute ground in Dehradun on June 21. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lead the main event at the sprawling Forest Research Institute ground which is expected to be attended by over 50,000 yoga enthusiasts. Similarly, such events will be organized across the country and abroad to mark the occasion. Yoga, which has originated in India has been gaining popularity across the globe because of its health benefits. The word “Yoga” is derived from the Sanskrit root yuj meaning “to join”, “to yoke” or “to unite”, symbolizing the unity of mind and body; thought and action; restraint and fulfillment.
